Over the last 37 years, Transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) has received increasing attention as it has shown a strong therapeutic potential in many diseases, ranging from dementia to depression and addictions. The main goal of this presentation is to highlight the history, the mechanisms of action, as well as latest findings on how TMS protocols can significantly impact quality of life, as well as improve behavioral response as well as cognitive abilities in individuals with anxiety, depression, addictions and cognitive deficits, including Neuro-Covid-19.
