Session Description: Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy is an evidence-based approach which combines the ideas of cognitive therapy with meditative practices and attitudes based on the cultivation of mindfulness. Mindfulness-based interventions are being used more frequently among mental health professionals and there is good reason for this. There is evidence to suggest that these interventions are very effective for a variety of emotional and cognitive conditions including anger management.
